In the modern era of online photo albums, snapchats and social media, it’s amazing how there are still people left in the world who chooses to take physical photographs and putting them in physical photo albums, keeping them forever.

As cameras evolve, who’d have though an instant camera would still be a thing today? Before Fujifilm release their newest instant camera (SQ10), they released the latest in their Wide collection the Instax Wide 300.
INSTAX WIDE 300
An upgrade from the Instax Wide 210, Fujifilm enhanced the look for the Instax Wide 300 with the black and silver color. The camera, looked modern but at the same time similarly looks like vintage cameras.
My personal thought on the camera that it’s not as bulky as the Wide 210 model, it looks classic and there are no rounded edges which I personally like better in a camera. A flaw to consider would be it does not have a variety of shooting modes like the Mini versions, like a double exposure feature.
INSTAX WIDE FILM
With twice the size of a mini instant film, the instant wide film itself measures 3.4 x 4.25 inches, which obviously could be a little heavy on the pocket.

Mall prices start from PhP 610.00 for a 10-exposure pack and is also very limited since for the same price, you could already buy a 20-exposure pack for the Mini Instax cameras. Lazada Philippines, has so far the cheapest Instax Wide Film 10-exposure pack with 20% off the normal mall prices.
For only, PhP 488.00, it’s a little cheaper but it’s worth every hundred spent. instaxtic on Lazada, sells a variety of goods ranging from Instax Minis, Instax films, protective cases and even affordable iPhone cases.
Being an instant camera fan myself, I enjoy taking instant photos because aside from the nostalgic feeling the camera gives, it can help me with my non-existent photography skills. I feel that through limited exposures, it helps with the discipline of being very careful on which photos to take because films can be really pricey at times.
